About Event

Pragyan is the ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 20121;2012 certified International Techno-Managerial Organisation of NIT Trichy - only the fourth of its kind in the country. The very first virtual edition of Pragyan was conducted in March 2021 and was a massive success despite the Pandemic.

Pragyan conducts several events throughout the year apart from the main event, such as the 'Hackathon,' which took place in the month of January; and this was the first time it was conducted virtually. Apart from this, Pragyan also conducts numerous Events under different domains of engineering. Pragyan also conducts various Workshops and Exhibitions, Guest Lectures, and Infotainment shows every year. Several social initiatives taken up by Pragyan happen throughout the year, some independent and others in partnership with other organisations. Dhisai, the celebrated flagship social responsibility event of Pragyan, took awareness about JEE to the grassroots. GyaanE was another event organized by the social responsibility unit of Pragyan for classes eight to ten of SOS children's orphanage in Bhopal. Insights about different careers (automobile, telecommunication, etc.) were given to students. An interactive workshop on arts and crafts was also conducted, which ended with an interactive Q&A session about career guidance.

Pragyan also organizes various Talk Series throughout the year in which famous personalities throughout the country participate and share their views.
